With three hours of built up bills start coming your way to build the NFL it's all on the. Able today in a lot to talk about today. And doubt we have an offensive coordinator now on the books Rick Dennison named to the offensive coordinators post last night by. New head coach Sean McDermott what do you think. I'm you know I think it's. It can possibly be a good hire we don't know everybody's asking is that a good sign for Tyrod Taylor because he coached him down and in Baltimore. You know maybe that's. You don't know about that and not I don't not to study a little bit more about his off into his his style I know he last was in Denver yet and they were. It appeared to be a pass first offense but they ran the ball a lot you know so I think that's good for this offense they ran the ball a lot with CJ Anderson. Comments so I think it because. Try to get a handle I know who Rick Dennison is what he's all about it we're gonna talk about that throughout the course of the day but we got a pretty big show planned for yet. About other topics as well and has always you are welcome to join us 8030550. The number. Told free from outside buffalo 1888550. To 550. Or can join us on Twitter at John Murphy show the lineup today we're gonna talk about one of the other assistant coaches for the bills coming up at 1230 today. Gonna talk about new defense of my coach Mike waffle. Who's got a lot of attention over his appearance on. Hard knocks over this past year when they followed along the Los Angeles rams we're gonna talk of one of his players from the rams will Hayes will join us. At 1230 we'll get his view of his former defense of my coach Mike waffle now coming to the Buffalo Bills so that's coming up at 1230. At 1 o'clock the famous Chris Berman boomer from ESPN. Got a lot to talk with him about including the Buffalo Bills you know how. You know how much you follows a Buffalo Bill also will talk with Chris Berman about that we're gonna talk with Chris Berman about the weekend playoff games the AFC and NFC. Championship games coming up this week. And we'll talk with Chris Berman about his evolving role that ESP and he is scaling back some of these are game day duties and and focusing on some other so Chris Berman. Is gonna join us at their 1 o'clock today coming up Bechtel won thirty your buddy Arthur Moats makes a return holders as he gets ready for his championship yeah. We wanna talk Lamotte a couple of different things including his game but in particular. The team coming down with the flu bug. A couple of guys on the team coming down with the flu days before the game that could be serious. You know if you have to play in a game you have to travel out to New England. And planning game if you're still dealing with symptoms of the flu that is not an easy thing to do so. We definitely want it's also a little bit about that and just you know what it was like out in Kansas City last week in what these guys are doing to like you ready for this week. I just talked to him a little bit about the distractions that were caused by the Antonio Brown poll you know FaceBook lies being we have allowed to talk them about. Arthur Moats former bills linebacker now linebacker back up for the Pittsburgh Steelers you have the report was that what fifteen Pittsburgh Steelers staffers anyway. And come down with the flu net fifteen players but. Tight end the dares green missing practice yesterday with an illness. A couple of other players sat down on Wednesday lady on bell will not sick but he missed a practice and you wonder how much have been any impact it would have but. Yeah there's a dozen or Mora. Pittsburgh Steelers personnel affected by 24 hour conspiracy theorists will say that New England had something and do with that and they sent somebody over there. That was sick with the flu like getting everybody sick and deplete the Obama. I would rule it out but that's the steely as patriots were talking about so you can't sort it out coming up at 130 and then at 2 o'clock. Returning our attention to next week where the Senior Bowl takes place in Mobile, Alabama. Our guy Chris Brown is going to be live at the Senior Bowl in mobile. And we will talk with the executive director of the Senior Bowl Phil savage longtime player personnel executive for the Baltimore Ravens in the Cleveland Browns who does a great job. Running the Senior Bowl we're gonna miss some were setting Chris Brown to the Senior Bowl this year I'll be going to the Super Bowl the following week but we'll get Chris Brown's report from the Senior Bowl next week. And we'll get his Senior Bowl preview with Phil savage he ejected director of the Senior Bowl. It kind of a sense of where some of the top prospects down their Senior Bowl is it pristine and the way the draft as he bogeyed it the Senior Bowl as a player and even since then Donald. The top talent typically and I know Phil would would fight me on this but it doesn't the top talent usually does not wind up. At the Senior Bowl in mobile and we're talking about. Eligible juniors who obviously are not eligible for the most part for the senior ball. And just guys who don't feel like that we would do their draft stock any good now. I've seen a lot of good players over the years have they ever in the Senior Bowl four consecutive years is to be the first one I've missed in four years. A five years really and there are always good players there and I love it you've been on the show when album so player's name come up and I say a sonic at the Senior Bowl I like him who's a good player and downloading the great deck press got last week or last year. Last year did that played I think Russell simply inconceivable that we needed that was before my time down there who before his time there yeah I mean the year I plea. There are a bunch of guys that ended up in the first round horse and start your car. So we had how Wilson who was the first rounder from Denmark where it cornerback DeVon McCord he played up in the Senior Bowl. We had. A linebacker Weatherspoon he went to the falcons he played inevitable day year. We had Tim Tebow we have people probably sucked up all the oxygen we did he did I'd never seen a sign down there invested Tim Tebow God's gift to football and probably. And people all the bits I know there was nobody hopeful Mitt but Tim Tebow has this preview like. Staff of bodyguards around them and us as players didn't even get to talk to my amid the we may guide you on his team. I was on his sweet he wrote our our own in north did he was on the south team so we were playing against him but. I was in his group that the come on along with Sam Bradford. And a couple of the other big name quarterbacks so. You know at wide receiver we had. Antonio Brown played he was on my team. We also had us we have. To call before was the air during Davidson who was here he was a wide receiver on our team on the north the south man I can remember who played on the south there's a lot of guys ended up going in the first two rounds if you remember kids Marty do you. Yes I do Cincinnati game he played he was on our team as well in the north we have a lot of guys on the north. The senior roles funny known we'll talk with Phil savage about it because because of the eligible juniors who take up a lot of the early rounds in the draft. And because of the fact that the top prospects don't wanna expose themselves to injury and I maybe don't wanna be exposed in the US senior bowler any of these All Star Games. It they don't really get the cream of the crop very often but there are prospects there and there are people who talk about and we'll talk with Phil savage about that at 2 o'clock. Good fit their prospects there that you end up seeing haven't in twelve year career yes you know that Atlanta conceivable that don't have the necessary the big names right now. But they're playing in his gains so that they can improve their draft stock and they're gonna end up playing for ten to twelve years movable. All right so we'll talk with a savage about the Senior Bowl would love to talk with you the phone lines open. 8030550. The number toll free from outside buffalo. 1888550. To 550 or by Twitter and our Twitter poll is up we know now the identity the bills' offensive coordinator it is Rick Dennison. The new offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills along. List of experience for Rick Anderson as he makes his way through the NFL the last several years as the offensive coordinator the last few years. As he offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos prior to that one nearest corner backs coach for the Baltimore Ravens which brings up Tyrod will talk more about that. Houston Texans offensive coordinator for. Three years 2010. Through 2013 actually for years broncos' offensive line coach before their broncos' offensive coordinator for. Three years 06 threw 08. Broncos' offensive line coach bronco special teams coach of the broncos' offensive assistant three time Super Bowl champion he also lost some Super Bowls in his playing career he was a linebacker and in the NFL with the Denver Broncos and is it fair to him one and three Super Bowls. First duke coming during his time as India. As a special teams coach with the Broncos and most recent the last season in the seconds Tennessee offensive coordinator played nine years in the league with the Broncos a linebacker and appeared in three super walls there. And lost all three of them Rick Dennison. The new offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills a name that we had not heard Donald at all at all nobody mentioned his name now they have a new head coach Vince just about in Denver. Obviously he's gonna get his own people out there and Rick Dennison was out there open obviously in the available for hire and this thing was never brought up I mean you think of the people have been mentioned as potential offensive coordinators over the last few days Ken Dorsey and Alex Van Pelt. Prior to that there was mention of Brad Childress me and Mike McCoy and look we don't know with and with certainty which ones were absolutely interviewed by the Buffalo Bills I do know with certainty there were more there were interviewed by the bills names that never came out and which. Leads me to a couple of things first of all. We all media fans have to be patient. Secondly. I'd like the fact I really like the fact. The coach Sean McDermott is way under the radar on this than doesn't he doesn't seem to react or care what's out there in the media. Doesn't seem to react or care who the pundits think would be the strong offensive coordinators. Candidates he didn't you know a lot of times people who just connecting dots he worked with him so he'll be here though it did work out that way at all and I love the fact that Sean McDermott. Who's been on the job now for one week eight days just what about his business and identified as offensive coordinator candidates. Interviewed several including names that you never heard from are never heard about it you may recognize names but they were not mentioning injecting connects with a buffalo job. And coach McDermott went out found this guy and I love that fact I mean he's just going about his business. You know people connected dot especially in the media every wants to connect the dots or this guy was his friend he coached with him here or if they played together in college. So he has to be the guy and it's not like that would coach McDermott you know he's going to interview the guys. And he's gonna he's gonna interview everybody weigh all of his options and then hired the right guy that he feels fits. This you know the system that he wants to run or the right guy he feels can run. There's often you know and and the guy who he can really handy keys over because he's a defense the coach he has to put a lot of trust in the guy who's gonna run the office. Paris is the guy who he feels like. Can run the offense merely now a lot of people trying to connect the dots between. You know coach Richardson and Tyrod Taylor because he close him down and in Baltimore who knows you know we still don't know what's gonna happen with the quarterback situation. I think when you look at him in Denver the office that they had out there and dimmer obviously they had Peyton Manning so they they were gonna throw the ball. But they did run at a lot more than people realize you know when and they had a lot of success running the ball. So I think that's good for this office because this is a run first offense in his office the line loves to run the ball they love to pull in do different things like that so. I think it's a good look for this offense I think we have a lot of learning to do about you know go to reduce them and entertain us Mexico's independence and to see where those. Yet pictures if you think about the last couple years when a coach Dennis and has been with Denver. You know two years ago two seasons ago it was Peyton Manning's office. Now what kind of a handle the get on an offensive philosophy from Peyton Manning and you have to believe they're running. The Peyton Manning off and I would pay Manning is most. Comparable Whitman and I'm sure you know you be a full whether you were a Gary Kubiak to head coach of the time or Rick Dennison the offensive coordinator. You'd be a fool not to adapt with the S strengths that the Peyton Manning brings you that being said last season that they point sixteen to 2015 he's in the Super Bowl season. Peyton Manning was a shot of himself all season long and in fact even back to point fourteen. The Broncos offense was in this and in a state of transition from a heavily depended on Peyton Manning with his passing our. And going to us CJ Anderson and and using him so. It's hard for me anyway and maybe someone can point us in the right direction. Hard for me need to get a handle on what kind of an offense this might be based on the last two years with the Denver Broncos when Dennis was there however. As we know he's got tons of experience and putting two years in the NFL Rick Dennison among that most of that time with Gary Kubiak. I think that might be the key in trying to assess what kind of an offense the bills might have. Look at what great Gary Kubiak had particularly with the Houston Texans when he was when he was I had goose down there that for years to 2010. Through 2013. Obviously Kubiak brought a lot of you know he you know we worked under Shanahan right with a Denver Broncos so much in answer some of that is gonna be I think reminiscent of that but. I that we got to go back and evidence chance do you could really look at maybe the Houston Texans offensive style for that four year period. 2010 through 2013. And actually Kubiak went to Baltimore before he went back to Denver to be the head coach there so that 2014 season might. And legion in the right direction as we try to get I can't about Rick Dennison and and what kind of an offense he might bring to the table. And more just guessing I would like your real well actually that's our Twitter poll you can ring us up on the phones at 8030550. Or toll free at 1888550. To 550. Or you can join us on Twitter at John Murphy show a reporter Paul is basically a choice for you. What type of office would you like to see the bill's new offensive coordinator Rick Dennison run and we sort of narrowed down to a couple of options may go remiss in something. What type of offense do you wanna see the new offensive coordinator Rick Dennison right here right now which about 415 votes and 37% of you said you'd prefer a West Coast short passing style of office. Is that what they ran under Gary Kubiak amateur. As that would Dennison is most comfortable with 29% say you'd like to see a deep threat in the passing game. 25% of you say you like to see heavy run emphasis. 25% say that similar to what the bills have done obviously over the last couple years here. 90% say something else give us a colleague and so to think what type of offense you wanna see new offensive coordinator Rick Dennison run. And you can do it on the phones and 8030550. Or via Twitter at John Murphy show I don't know which way to vote on that though. He now when you look at him back in Houston under close to Kubiak. Was Kubiak on the please and I believe so. I know that offense was like his own style of run you know with and Foster a lot of more like stretching his own style blocking. And so I don't know if that's what he's gonna bring here with you know LeSean McCoy when you think about that stretch and now his own style no style. That can help out with. She eighties because of the way he likes to run the way he likes to. You know make his cuts you know he stretching the ball and he can read it and now cut in the downhill when I don't I don't know how would you describe the buffalo running offense the last two years. It was more of lot of different movements and more like pulling guards a lot of that he has a lot more pulling guards empower type are running actually were you know bid. That reverse type of wishbone they're reversed wishbone that they were running a little bit different than a stretched his own style you know so. I don't know it'd be interesting to see if that's what they're running here. But they were also a play action because they were running that stretch they were play action off the bat which. If Tyrod Taylor's here that can help out with his gaming going deep down the field you know we we run the stretch stretch stretch plaques and down the field we know that's what Tyrod Taylor's strong. At doing throwing the ball down the field so. I would think that he's gonna if that's the type this of off is that he's gonna run. He's gonna come in here and say we need some receivers we need more receivers that can get down the field not just Sammy Watkins. We needed add depth at wide receiver get some guys that can get down the field so that are generally can do what he's. You know when he likes to do and asked broom ball down the field. It appears that one of the influences on the bills no offense were named Rick Dennison is longtime NFL offensive line coach Alex Gibbs who was a offensive line now a consultant I guess for the Denver Broncos while a Dennison and Gary Kubiak were just there and he is the zone blocking who were really in the NFL. Was in Gibbs was the offensive line coach for the Denver Broncos. A Williams consultant has its that in 2013 but spent. You know almost what 89 years as the assistant head coach and offensive line coach for the Denver Broncos. Under Mike Shanahan way back in the early nineties soak. That appears to be kind of the roots of where a reconnaissance offense is coming from and that's kind of which you alluded to also panel that kind of running attack would be you know maybe what the bills are pointed towards but we don't know we're kind of figured out we wanna hear knew what style of offense. Would you like to see the bills run you can vote on our Twitter poll. And we don't feel limited you import in other and then give us a call. You can vote and her Twitter forward 37% but you say West Coast passing attack 31% say deep threat passing attack 43% say heavy run emphasis emphasis 9% say something else that we've we've taken some month. Comments on this also from the Twitter coalesced to what style of offense. The brother Don says depends on the quarterback would love to select west coaster deep pass but. If tyrants are quarterback I'm not too confident in that scheme. I this we're gonna get the tyrant in the second and now he might match up with Dennis I don't. I don't know that that Tyrod Taylor is suitable. At least now for West Coast passing ago based on what we've seen you always have to factor in what he was asked to do when you know what they coached him to do. But when you think the West Coast passing attack you think of you know short passes Lance very much an accurate passing game getting the ball into receivers hands on time in in stride. We haven't seen tyra do a lot of that are retired years it doesn't appear to be his strength and again. It may change based on resisted doing so with that in mind I don't know the West Coast style of attack would be suitable for Tyrod Taylor what do you I don't. I don't I don't see dead in the West Coast you have to be able to make all types of throws down the film now we've seen him. You know early in Oakland game making a lot of short. Quick outs and quick passes says the early that first quarter he was making a lot of passes on time completing those passes. But I don't think that's his strong suit you know I think he wants I don't think that he would rather go play accidental down the field you know and then. It it allows him when you're doing zone type of offense finished threats type of offense and you're going to play action. Naturally you're moving the pocket. Right and we talked about this entire year they need to do some you know move the pocket little bit so that he can see over the middle of the field. So naturally when you're doing that style of offense it's moving the pocket because. You're you're doing the play action in and then there's that that natural movement is there. I think. That he suitable for that style of offense not the West Coast out of office if you're talking about a West Coast offense. For me you need a quarterback who can see the entire field. Who can read everything in the role with precision on time and right now Tyrod Taylor hasn't shown signs of being consistent. At doing that so I don't think that's asylum office that he would fit into. That West Coast Alamo. And yet Rick Dennison and the one year we Tyrod Taylor in this it back to the the connecting the dots concept which I don't either one of us are our fans are but in point fourteen Rick Dennison. Spent the whole year with Tyrod Taylor with Joseph Flacco. As they head coach in Tony fourteen it was quarterbacks coach to win the quarterback room with Tyrod and Joseph Flacco and so you without aloft and it has to count for something right same style as what. The same style of play actions of Michael's a big play action down the field that yeah you know the same style maybe that's the way they would go. I don't know we're executing your commute the phone lines open. 8030550. Toll free 1888550. To 550 or by Twitter couple more tweets Alex Jones says. Blend his own run pistol concept with deep pass play action. Bills rent a lot of pistol this past season. And Tyrod appear to be pretty comfortable in that ended also appeared to work well with. With the running attack that the bills head of the best in the league and not this past year but two years ago two seasons ago. I thought that I thought that Tyrod Taylor did a great job with the deep pass and a lot of it some of it off play action but I thought he was his. I mean the numbers reflect that he was as good a deep pastor is essentially anybody in the league back in in 2015. Grand. You know win when your quarterback and you are not the guy who paroles on time a guy who the rules. With crazy precision accuracy quick passes. You know the deep ball has to be your friend and you have to have number one receivers that can get down the field. To catch the deep ball but we know that's his strong so we know and it for me. This is he's a little bit more comfortable throwing to be passed here we're not just talk about bombs down the field we're talking about. You know the fifteen yard days that's one yard Dijjer all deep overs. You cross sitters here. The routes like that that are deeper down the middle of the field it gives him a little bit more time to read the defense and make the throw rather than. You know a seven yard curl or seven yard beastie shorter routes where you have to be on time you have to be accurate all the time. When you're when you're throwing the ball deeper down the field it just isn't a little bit more time and I think he's a little bit more comfortable doing that you know so that's why. He's a lot better read don't you know he can make that throws I win I think he can make the girls this is seeing the film to be enabled it to throw into windows and do it on time that I don't think he's comfortable bill. Couple other tweets on the what Kabul offense you'd like to see BM rose 716. Ball control Smart effective throwing and running take pressure off the defense. Where on your opponents finish drives yeah all of that would be great ball control little Smart effective throwing and running. Sure knew right who mood mood arguing that. I think that's it as far as the or is one interest in Winchester rinks as I think that patriot to the model here can run with power and finesse can pass anywhere they want pick your poison. Patriots are a really good offense and right buttons and all of that. All of that including Iran game is predicated on I believe them on the other quarterback that is but today coming together can throw it anywhere they want because they've got the greatest quarterback of his generation. Right and did you have to understand that when Tom Brady goes to the line of scrimmage. He has the power to millions of power of attorney over that often you know he can do what he wants to do. He can get up into the line of scrimmage and look at defense and say don't want I don't like this place we need to check out this angle power. With when there blocked and it paid springs for sixty yards you know like. That's how good Tom Brady is he just he Knowles the defense is he knows what they're trying to do to him. And he always has something that would counter what the defense is trying to do to him he's just that good you know and Tyrod Taylor hasn't stepped his game up to that level yet. But I think. You know if they're gonna run. And weren't connecting dots again that they would run bad stretch zone play action type of offense I think it really suits with aren't so wants to do. We're gonna take a break in them when we come back we're gonna talk about the bill's new defense of lying coach Mike waffle and we'll talk with one of his former players from the Los Angeles rams will. Will Harris will join that's right a quick takes. Can read my own writing but as well Hayes will join us when we return my dad. Coming aboard the John Murphy show presented by no go from one bills drive a Buffalo Bills radio. We'd like to know what you think of them. Rick Dennison give us a call 8030550. Toll free 1888550. To 550 or via Twitter. At John Murphy show we ever Twitter poll which is often running in deals with Rick Dennison and let's revisit that what type of offense would you like to see the new offensive coordinator Rick Dennison run. 500 votes in 37%. Say they'd like to see a West Coast short passing approach 31% secret they would prefer a deep threat passing game. 23%. Say keep the heavy emphasis on the run. 9% say something else give us a call let us know to think 8030550. Toll free 1888. By fifty to 550 or by Twitter. We've been read a couple tweets on this what type of offense you'd like to see the bills run. And tweet from Jack uses I'd like an up tempo zone running offense with play action. And uses rollout to the pocket so Tyrod can see the middle as last season went along Donald they did I think a much better job in. Certain games of getting tyra outside the pocket and let them. Take a look downfield and I think it worked I think that might be the key for him moving forward whether he's here or somewhere else. No doubt that he and Martin's back in the lineup knowing and he had that but comfort bed you know. That trust that Sammy Watkins was gonna catch the ball and you need an as a quarterback you know and that's what Tarantino likes to do he likes to throw the ball deep down field goal. You know twenty applause you know forty yards down field when you have to have the receivers to get that done so receivers a position that they really need to address the need a couple of guys. With seismic and keep down the field and catch the ball consistently so that he trusts these guys that he can throw the ball down field. We all wanna see people's them feel but he got to be able they'll also throw it you know short game you've got to be able to just pick up the first down and that's company has to really work on. But to be please read the. Well we'll see if it turns out to be part of the buffalo offense we would hope to see some of that obviously Ian. And the future Tyrod Taylor you don't we've talked a lot about this thing to talk a lot about this. We don't know definitively whether Tyrod Taylor is going to be here we talked a lot about the if you read into. The fact that tyra was taken off the fielders are not allowed to take the field for the finale against the jets there was something to be said there I think about. The direction which are going but there's a new coaching staff in place are becoming in place now and there are new voices being heard in the row mr. You know what they should do with Tyrod Taylor and you know a lot of what we've gone around with with callers over the last few weeks is why would an office or neutered take this job not known as quarterback will be. Well the bill's answer was that coordinator along with a new head coach Sean McDermott. We'll have a voice in what happens with Tyrod Taylor now the Dennison is in place. You would think that his voice will be heard as to which way to go I think the bills wanted to see. You know and we talked about this through the back and forth the give and take between the coordinator candidates in and head coach Sean McDermott. And I would think Doug Whaley the back and forth and be like. What your quarterback play well what do you think our quarterback well in Dennison case he could say well like I spent a year with Tyrod Taylor I think I know what to make him or. Ice but he you're Tyrod Taylor and I think we can do better I mean that that would be very explicit yes I think wanna be a fly on the wall and that congress. A look at this whole thing all the way back to bed jets game. And just look at it like this. The bills wanted to keep their options all right they did not want to be. Just locked in the Tyrod Taylor. Regardless if it Rex Ryan was gonna be here or not. They did not just wanna be locked into right so if they knew that they were going to let Rex Ryan though we have a new clothes is that coming in. Do we want to do is is you know we wanna keep everything open so that they close can decide if he can work with Tyrod Taylor and you know also now. You have a new coaching staff in here is their job to evaluate and now coach the new office accord is job to evaluate and say. I can keep tyrants that thing back and work with tyrants or not you know also. Ultimately. Going back to the last game of the season they just wanted to keep their options open that's how public it they just wanted to keep their options open to figure out what they wanted to do. Moving forward not reluctant to these is not to be locked in if you know something would happen in that last game in Hayward. Now locked into it three years of tyrants that. You know and the other thing about tyrant and this has been discussed a lot on this show over the last several weeks and months. I don't in the end I mean it's it's stupid to say money doesn't matter but in the end I think the bills are gonna make a a football decision and tell him Taylor. The money. If if the contract kicks in if they pick up the option. By what march 11 the money matters but it I don't think it's it is the defining factor in whether or not Tyrod Taylor comes back because when you when you're. When you think about it they'd come you know they would be on the hook for pretty reasonable quarterback money for Tyrod Taylor out and out. Eczema money but things like you know back on the lower half of the league as far as tally yet wanting for his captain number of things like fifteen million or something like that that's while you're talking about these quarterbacks. Captives are above twenty million a year you know so. That that the number I don't think is an issue. Was still at the same time native wanna have to be locked into it if the new coach comes in here says I can work with Tyrod Taylor now you're paying. But backed out because they'd that the new coach was say I need to draft some money dependent baca that type of money and you don't wanna have that your backup quarterback you know also. I think they just wanted to keep their options open. So the options open now for Tyrod and the offensive coordinator option is filled with that Rick Dennison getting that job. And that's what I wanna talk with you about 8030550. Or tool free 1888550. To 550. What type of offense would you like to see the bills run. Under new offense coordinator Rick Dennison. What type of defense of the got to run what's that defense of mine gonna look like a lot of people were intrigued by the bills hire of Mike waffle. Because the defense of minding your native of Cornell New York to Florida on the road. And Mike waffle who's been coaching around here since 1979 with a Alfred University. As spent the last five seasons as the defense of my coach for the Los Angeles prior to that St. Louis Rams joining us right now on the subway fresh take out by the players met with coach waffled and most of that time. He is defense event for the rams have a to have will Hayes on eleven as well. It's John Murphy Dow Jones we thank you very much for joining us here today. Current current. Well I got that he's question before we get in the football cause I'm reading something here about. Your preference mermaids over dinosaurs that you just talked me a little bit about that like where does that come from. Mara. This problem in warm up well no but if you really civil war that thirteen of them. But it sure that there could defer baker spirited them to do it may you have to. Give people chocolate cup. Was murdered mark and murmured a mark a lot of what I definitely difficult you know like. Eric is right where eighties separate out and order a martyr and I think they are it would discriminate. Senator in my book and you know. Well and speeches about the weather report that they have food there and Cameron vacant Olbermann and more of I don't know if some. Why would get why would. Development and some of the completely out of what do you do this Monday. OK we are. While it will why would somebody make the dinosaur story out what's the upside to do. There are problems. You can throw Arctic reluctant to vote won't won't won't. And it picked the same ticket with some of right you know there is some of them seriously years. It's something years ago productive by doing your development Eric effort. It's. That episode despite a lot of video and then. Are there will result are not. Seriously doubt I'd be ordered him. There's been your primary here multiple blows the ball well put mr. cook group. Led the round of its things than your current. Our witnesses. That it is attitude it's who want we don't make. They're going to I think what was. Owed their. All right earn up. We'll Hayes our guests we're gonna ask you now about Mike waffled defense of my coach you've had out there the rams and very talented rams' defense in my for a couple of years what can you tell us about coach -- well. You're gonna bark at them and he's got bigger coat it's great great feature. And good standard to go to vote about these he's quote. Avery you look at the farm that particular you know they got very very very and it looked. I admire support an amendment itself and so you know. And that's I think that that that's what it is all the dirty air as if Saito got the you'd gone a bit of apple so sell them. That you could liken it to a whole another bogey those commands. Out of configure Africa or here in front. Go to America and these are close to the Love Boat hazard there you know what color. Local it's here moving more into he's. We're not far removed the more. Policy summit Carter and Graham what do you think this particular over the literally. Here but for what you're and they feel like you know maybe an exact. Now you know. You know part of political authority in the or thought you know. There's been great booklet you know America that are massive that the Big Bang them you know. He's going to do everything you can get out. That that's it that's what apparently opened and those kind of root for them because of. Now when you look at everything that we've heard about him is these little trees you know he's he comes in he's yelling that guys. And I'm I'm not sure how true that is you cities firecracker. Now. How was that received for the guys that are regularly at the veterans that there. It is the united yelled at them as a light. It is going to. It. Let them in secret and now like it they're going to hear his. I guarantee by the that we steered. Well look we learn. Nolan not figured that nordic is that it's excellent football you don't spend their American. And let this thing you know it's it's here that's called cricket you know some people Kyle McCarthy put. He's you'll you'll make people leave their you know you could note with the ballclub they're open and you have no ways of for that ticket is that it's big and critic Norman could console art itself you know. That this is a part of their values as a great model ultimately. He clearly guarantees though like. I don't quote it was hard for me or like he could threaten their medal Obama echoed their from the you know mr. quirk at play here you know and like. Great job a good coach like that. At present I think I won't say bad about you know you go under the policy. He catered to a britney's. You know if you are you're still on the hook or some other key here and make sure that. Did your complete because this Sunday they're out of them out you know and a record he he he he could present. And that he's a great present them a little bit no other coach that couldn't. Would you say that. I'm sorry well would you say he's a good teacher. These are great and keep it. That's the Mercury Records when I got policies. He's very user you are recruiting ground believe in the policy. But it says it was an. Other than what about that as some might then look for forty years. And now on its policy with a look at once more president. And certain things that are out there you know we are termed it that sort of thing they're like no I want. I would not make you feel that they have to keep you really do that things don't competitor mister. You know what took you to look at I don't know. I don't want to. Better compete for the public accepting economic boom that this open your life. Well there's one without a book which in the pits it was impossible what you would. You know very Lekkerkerker integrated with the current Olympic coach coming in America and outlook that. There are certain. I mean he's he's you know that you're you're gonna hit cook. Like your partner cook without you know what when it comes as the lineman Larry when the public and the field that you put them more sympathetic. He couldn't do that a lot of people equipment and I've got to come out to either. You're gonna labor costs are considered not that they're public. I mean I hear different put like he's known and it was the Clinton and they you know. That they're not prepared about a month or optic of that statement without that you could could he loved. You know like you know. And and that they're prepared me and coaches. Number I hope it's got a good coach Craig adultery critic webpart. No me either go there could be something special that it's special. With a group. Now when you first found out that he wasn't gonna be you know coach in town LA. What was you know when you called and Donald and the rest of the guys who were your first words. And I. Let them start their that the president has that I am at. I don't but he you know clippers. You know that would not let you're more of I was at first it's it's it's. That's kind of group or the other no you can operate all of your notebook like put everybody. Up football. Well you know there goes. Yeah he's got a pretty good here and then dramatically because a lot of these notes. You can go what would you like this year phenomenon after former. Art that figure that a couple of quick. I know is when their you know what. It and that would. Aren't their that was spoken. But no on the I think he. Quote the consistency you know hopefully it'll look and Echostar. Hope Vick can bring their respect and that's what it's cyclical the you're the player mr. I was gonna say what you got Wade Phillips who we know here pretty well Richard defense coordinator and you got a head coach who's. A couple of years younger than you have you ever been in this situation before John McCain is just thirty your couple years older than your head coach now. None of them aren't as in this situation and a worker worker from their forward Kirk Chris you know. Speaker front the most spirited and a multiple number I'm not. You know new partly. A couple of sort of formal north. There. And over that position you know you're occur here. Younger and he's simply. Probably have a lot more he probably has about what its final form or another you know. He looked good. And I respect you know with that position. I would never have been chartered chartered accountant you know agent and you know him. So who are hopefully look at this very painful and hopefully the beauty of the code that would cripple both but I hope that it has become such all of this you know. Carbonneau might hear that went you know a moment took over at birth. As a mobile you know I want to other Arab and there was such important. You don't go to such a huge. Now you guys now have two teams and Los Angeles with the chargers coming out to Los Angeles. You think now that that can be a little bit of a rivalry and you guys will be competing for fans. With regard really weren't rude and often in Oakland. Let the buyer the Carter Kurt here. Which. The weaker regarding. It was as though they still say yeah it was just let them. It's just more than double the moment World Cup we use. That well. Yes so you know. We've got electoral vote program. For the credit. I don't. It's become more than in less than on the other side. If a bear market. That market is important thing. I got a couple different. Port sentiment. And could do I mean I know Rick and that's about it you know. It's good that they don't fit here legacy might not be part of a hundred words or. Nicaragua after. Reporter those who wanted to keep in terms. I thought about it. They will thank for this we appreciate it good talking with you. A thanks both page defense of and for the Los Angeles rams. Filling us in on the bill's new defense of my coach Mike waffle he's a firecracker he said almost first words out of asthma other a couple of words on those who. But thanks well pays for joining us on the subway for I think outline subway eat French Donovan arrived back with more moments John Murphy show. Presented by Novo from one bills drive a buffalo filtering. With. We'll hates defensive end for the you know Los Angeles rams talking about like willful these bills the new defense of my coach firecracker. But we think that puts. And the golden girls and it is the type of fire please. You deserve fireplace. I this. Home a firecracker recalls of which kind of confirms what we saw and heart acts of coach willful. Yeah yeah I mean he seems like that that guy's gonna you know and you. But he said he's a teacher. You know so when he tees being a firecracker in the in this by the minute sorts he's teach in the guise of motivating the guys at the saints obviously he's not yelling at UST. LA she's you know he's trying to teach you any also says that he. There wasn't a David didn't go by then you can tell me about you know that's a good thing for the players as well on the players players wanna know that the coach has their back and the coach. Really thinks about them as people and not as justice players do you want the coaches tell you that he loves. And if you have that type relation with the pose pose you know ability to make it seems like now how long was he there with those guys that was there for a couple of years yet. Yes they kind of grew with him. So you know and went as a player when you feel like this coach really Ayers this coaches is like take in my game to the next level you really appreciate it.
